Brian's Story
When Brian sadly passed away unexpectedly, his friends and family wanted to celebrate his life and love of animals.
Brian loved animals, big and small – from his dogs, aviary of Zebra finches and canaries, fish in his pond and his tortoise, to the wild birds and animals in his garden. He also loved Raystede and, as well as as sponsoring our donkeys and kennels, he would visit whenever he could with his wife, Anne.
“When we had spoken about donations to charities if something happened to one of us Brian always wanted Raystede to receive. I am so pleased money donated in his memory will be of great use. That would make him very proud and so pleased he has helped in some way.'' Anne, Brian’s wife.
To honour Brian and his love of animals, his friends and family donated to Raystede in his memory and raised an incredible £560. This will make such a difference to us and could cover the cost of rehoming one dog – Brian’s favourite animal. These donations are such a wonderful tribute to Brian’s life and a touching way to support the work we do.
