Due to the Avian Influenza Prevention Zone across the UK our Aviaries and part of the lakes area are closed.

We do NOT have this virus at Raystede. We are still open and welcome visitors to the rest of the site.

Raystede is hosting a rabbit vaccination day to help protect your rabbits from Myxomatosis, RVHD1, & RVHD2. It is vital to vaccinate rabbits every year.

The cost for this vaccine is £30 per rabbit. £5 of which is paid to secure your booking (including a £1.13 booking fee), and the remaining £25 to be paid on the day. Payments given by card are preferred.

Please ensure you attend the timeslot you have booked onto; we have limited numbers and if you miss your slot, you may not be able to be seen in the next timeslot.

Book a ticket for each rabbit below:

Rabbits are at risk of catching RVHD1, RVHD2 and Myxomatosis which can be fatal if they aren't vaccinated. Indoor rabbits are at risk as well as outdoor rabbits. We are providing the triple vaccine to protect your rabbits against all three diseases with one injection.

Vaccinations at this event will be available to rabbits that are at least 9 weeks of age.

Please ensure your rabbit is in a secure carrier and please bring your vaccination card with you, if you don't have one we will provide you with one.

If you have a dog, please leave them at home as they won't be allowed in the waiting room.

Your support helps animals like Mags

Mags arrived at Raystede in poor condition, suffering with chronic laminitis (inflammation and damage to the tissue of his hooves) severely impacting his ability to move. Mags spent around four weeks not being able to leave the stable, with Styrofoam pads taped to all four feet to increase comfort.

Five months later, thanks to your kind donations and the expert care our Equine Team, Mags is the picture of health, he is worm and lice free, and most importantly he isn’t in pain.

We couldn't help animals like Mags without your incredible support.
