Paws to learn

We invite groups at risk of exclusion to engage in outdoor learning which aims to encourage pro-social skills and empathy with animals relating to the responsibilities involved in pet ownership.

  • Help us to collect the eggs from our chickens, make enrichment for our animals, exercise our dogs or ponies, or socialise our cats
  • One hourly sessions available every Wednesday afternoon (during term time)
  • Maximum group size 8 students
  • Led by Raystede's education team
  • Free of charge (donations welcome)

Help keep our animals warm and safe this winter

As the cold weather sets in, our animals need your help more than ever. Winter is a challenging time for our animals who have often been mistreated, neglected or abandoned.

But, with your help they will spend Christmas in the care of our amazing animal welfare team.
